Saint Francis hospital ligger i landsbyen Katete i den østlige povinsen i Zambia. Sykehuset har ca 360 sengeplasser og yter helsetjenester til en
befolkning på 1,5 millioner. Pasientene mottar gratis
helsehjelp. Vi skal jobbe som frivillige ved St. Francis fra september til desember 2010 som medisinstudenter med midlertidig lisens.

Yes, it is hardly possible not to go for a swim in that Lake Malawi! Although it gave you a lot of troubles to come there, it must have been good to be away from the hospital for a couple of days. And it is easy and much better to prevent schistosomiasis by taking some pills from a doctor in Ullavalla. Paul had it after swimming in Lake Malawi, if you should use the cystoscope, you could see the inner sides of his bladder are like a moon with craters...... Love, Paul and Arlet
